Scouting with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) is an effective curricular program in the leadership and value formation of every child. Its main objective is consistent with the Department of Education’s mission to develop every boy and every young man into well-rounded individual with exemplary character worth the emulation of school children. In view of this, the DepEd supports the revitalization of Boy Scouting in schools nationwide. Deped is issuing the following guidelines.

OBJECTIVES:

To develop in boys’ personality traits of good character represented by the scout law;

To help the boys realize their responsibilities in citizenship by understanding their obligation to other people, society, and government;

To develop fitness of body, mind, and moral values.
Malagasang II Elementary School is committed and dedicated in developing the skills, personality and leadership capacity of each learner. Scouting activities is one of the best programs for holistic development of the pupils. The school intensified its campaign to increase the number of members and provided different scouting activities that made the scouts and scouters love and embrace the organization.
The school received several awards given by the City of Imus Scouting Committee (CISC)
