The Imus City Government had launched Eskwela Kooperatiba last June 2015 thru the effort of Imus City Coop Office headed by former Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Chair Emmanuel M. Santiaguel. The event was also graced by the present Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Chair Orlando R. Ravanera together with other CDA personnel.

Imus City Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi was fully supportive of the joint project of the Cooperative Development Authority and Imus Cooperative.  It envisioned to be replicated in other areas in the country so that the essence of cooperativism can be implanted early in the minds of the youth.

To support the programs and objectives of the Eskwela Kooperatiba, our school Malagasang II Elementary School  also enjoined and launched the program.

The Damayan sa Cavite Community Multi- purpose Cooperative - DACCO was our guardian laboratory cooperative. The DACCO was located at Anabu II-D, Imus City and it was established on August 19,1999.
