Several Stakeholders donated books to support M2 E/S Library Project

Union Bank donated 100,000 worth of books to Malagasang II Elementary School. This activity aim to provide pupils the love of reading books. There was a brief story telling done by the Union Bank staff.

Educators teaching students how to read.

Read To Learn

The School Reading Program aims to make non-readers and struggling readers from grades 2 to 6 into learners who can read and comprehend printed texts.

OVERVIEW

Malagasang II Elementary School is problematizing on how we can achieve our target of zero non -readers to become lifelong learner and in line with the national goal of making every child a reader.

The following are the objectives:

Eradicate the remaining .05% of 127 of SY 2018-2019 equivalent to 5 non- reader learners
Achieve a zero non-reader rate this coming 1st quarter of SY 2019-2020 and be sustained throughout the school year
Solicit parent support to their children’s education to reduce non- readers thru parents meeting on responsible parenthood and cooperate with the school target of achieving zero non-reader.
