Decay)

      Tooth brushing is the act of scrubbing teeth with a toothbrush equipped with toothpaste.  Brushing teeth after a meal helps prevent bacteria build up and tooth decay. Keeping teeth strong and healthy helps kids in many ways;

1. Chew the right food

2. Speak clearly

3. Look at one’s best

         This good dental care goes beyond the home. In order to develop healthy and strong teeth, kids must establish proper oral hygiene not only at home but also in school

         In line with this and in relation with the Division Memorandum No. 33 s. 2022 entitled Celebration of the 18th National Dental Health Month, Malagasang II Elementary School launched Project BID (Brush Everyday Para Iwas Tooth Decay) to ensure and strengthen awareness and reiterate the importance of good oral hygiene habits.

On toothbrushing drills during the implementation of the limited face-to-face

         As part of their daily routine, children are encouraged to brush their teeth while in school to keep their teeth, gums, and entire mouth healthy.

         Students from Kinder to Grade 6 received a dental health kit which contains toothbrush, toothpaste, a small towel, and a cup. These materials will be used during the toothbrushing drill.
