One of the programs of the school headed by the Department of Health is to reduce/ eliminate intestinal parasitism among public elementary school learners in order to improve the health of the school aged learners and improve the quality life of each and every students in the school.

WINS: Toothbrushing

In line with this and in relation with the Division Memorandum No. 382 s. 2018 entitled Implementation of Toothbrushing Drill in All Public Elementary Schools, Malagasang II Elementary School successfully implemented School Based Toothbrushing Drill Program for its learners.

School- Based Immunization

The School-Based Immunization (SBI) or vaccination of school-aged children is one of the programs of the Department of Health (DOH) to protect the students. Immunization helps in the elimination of different contagious diseases such as measles, German measles, tetanus and diphtheria which can be deadly if not prevented.

Health And Wellness

The program is a partnership between the Department of Education and Nestle Philippines, Inc. (NPI) and will be implemented by Greatfil Team Inc. (GTI), in coordination with the DepEd Regional Offices.

National drug Education Program (NDEP)

The National drug Education Program (NDEP) is comprehensively educational program which provides for a holistic approach to the problem of drug abuse. It was designed to enable all sectors to work collaboratively, with the school system as the core, thereby, unifying all sectoral endeavors.
