    About the Program EVERY CHILD IS A READER Malagasang II Elementary School is committed to developing learners' love for reading and making every learner a reader. To realize this commitment, a Reading Festival will commence from July 25- August 12, 2022. The said program is open to all learners from Grades 1 - 6 who need assistance in reading. We encourage parents and stakeholders to take part in realizing the DepEd and school's goal that every child is a reader. PREPARATION Volunteer teachers and the school head, Dr. Jocelyn A. Limosinero, are busy preparing the venue for the opening ceremonies and parent orientation for the Reading Festival 2022. This activity anchors on the "Read to Learn" program of the school, which aims to make every M2ESian a reader.

    School- Based Immunization The School-Based Immunization (SBI) or vaccination of school-aged children is one of the programs of the Department of Health (DOH) to protect the students. Immunization helps in the elimination of different contagious diseases such as measles, German measles, tetanus and diphtheria which can be deadly if not prevented. The said program is made possible with the collaboration of the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). This will be held in the month of August in all public schools wherein student from Kinder, Grades one to Grades seven will receive free vaccination recommended by the DOH to boost the immune system of the children.     Project Pananaliksik Project Pananaliksik aims to promote research culture to teachers of Malagasang II Elementary School. In line with the adaptation of Basic Education Research Agenda Agenda from the Department of Education that shall build on gains from existing research, generate new knowledge on priority research areas, focus attention on relevant education issues,and maximize available resources for research within and outside the school. The project significantly impacted the learners and the community, as shown in the marked increase, from 20% to 80%, in beneficiaries' participation from parents.
